The G6 Transmitters run on either NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydrid) or Li-ion (Lithium-Ion) batteries (you choose when designing the unit!)

Both G6 battery types have their advantages, which let the machine developer, owner and operator choose what works best for them regarding e.g., work environment, charging cycles and capacity. Both versions can be hot swapped and recharge fully in 2-3 hours (the G6 Mini Transmitter has room for two batteries and the transmitter will run on one at the time, or leave one in while another is charging).
