Success with magnetic stirrers

Right from the time of its foundation in 1976, "premex" relied on the novel permanent magnetic couplings it used for agitators in the chemical industry, thus laying a milestone in its success story. Premex used the technology in imported reactors and thus gained a competitive advantage.

The years of growth

In order to meet the growing demands of research and customer requirements, the company decided to launch its own autoclave line "made in Switzerland". The company`s reputation grew steadily as a result of the expanded range and individual solutions for high-pressure reactors. Important customers from the Basel industry and nearby foreign countries were soon among the clientele. In the following years, further markets were opened up through agencies abroad.

A new foundation stone is laid

With partnerships in process engineering, such as a specialist for control systems and automation and an engineering firm for the planning of chemical processes and plants, the foundation stone for a new division was laid in 2004: PROCESS PLANTS. Today we are in cooperation with the company ProRec in Berlin.

Around our location in Lyss (BE), we find a high concentration of modern technologies thanks to the watch and machine industry located here. We use the synergies so successfully that our products become top-quality products. Machining technologies such as precision mechanics, laser and waterjet technology, spark erosion and various surface finishing processes and 3D printing are highly valued by us.
