PBS - Model THS - Automatic Steam Pressure Boilers
The automatic steam pressure boilers THS for gaseous fuels and liquid fuels are available in 15 output types as a standard product. On customer request can also make a different power boiler variants THS.
Type Of Constraction THS:
Three pass boiler with flame tube, cooled reversing chamber with the membrane wall, two bundles of fire tubes, an uncooled second reversing chamber and flue gases collector. The boiler is available in the right-hand version (control from the right-hand side) as a standard. The boiler is also available in a left-hand version optionally.
Boiler Body:
Boiler body consists of cylindrical shaped shell, two bottoms reinforced with edge stiffeners, flame tube with a cooled reversing chamber closed with a membrane wall and two bundles of fire tubes. The second reversing chamber is un-cooled closed with a door ensuring cleaning of heating surfaces of the second and third passes. By types from THS 10 to THS 16 the second reversing chamber is built in boiler cover where the burner is also installed. By the sizes THS 25 and higher, there is the manhole in the membrane wall ensuring access to flame tube and the first reversing chamber. On the boiler body there is the armature tube with feeding control, water gauges, pressure gauges, pressure-switch for burner output control, emergency pressure- switch, tube socket for steam outlet, feeding, safety valves, venting, surface blow down and water level control, or installation of BOsB. The boiler body is for boiler internal revision equipped with observation holes. All heating surfaces are easily accessible for cleaning. This ensures permanent high boiler efficiency even in case of long-term liquid fuel firing.
Operating Overpressure
The maximum operating steam overpressure is up to 16 bar (g). On request it is possible to produce other types with a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (g).
Steam Operating Temperature
Saturated steam temperature depends on maximum operating steam overpressure.

BOILER EFFICIENCY AND FLUE GAS TEMPERATURE:
BOILER EFFICIENCY AND FLUE GAS TEMPERATURE:
The boiler heat efficiency is 91 % at a standard delivery (without ECO). Flue gas temperatures achieve values of 210 to 230 ° C, depending on the operating pressure and the boiler output. When is installing ECO on output flue gas from the boiler, efficiency increase to about 94-95 %.
EMISSION:
Emission values depend on used burner type but meet emission limits applied to gaseous and liquid fuels. NOx and sulfur emissions by liquid fuel burning depend on nitrogen and sulfur content in the fuel.
Accessories - On Request:
- Unattended operation device (BOsB)
In the absence of operator checks functionality electrodes to monitor the water level, functionality of the emergency manostat and shutdown of burner. If the check is successful, the boiler can continue to operate without constant operator. By the type of device is given time to manually test the functionality of the device operation the boiler room. - Automatic periodical blow-down valve
Blow down valve with pneumatic or electric actuator is operating in determined time intervals. - Automatic continuous blow-down
The specific electric conductivity of boiler water is measured. According to values obtained blow down valve is controlled. - Economizer (ECO)
The heat exchanger heating the feed water is placed in flue gases gas draft. Using of the by-pass on flue gases side is recommended. ECO increases total boiler efficiency by 3.5 %. ECO supply includes continuous feeding control monitoring boiler water level and controls feeding valve opening. - Feeding device

To the boiler can be fitted burner having any specified performance parameters. Burner installation is possible by using connecting flange on the lid of the boiler. - Chimney
We recommend connecting the boiler to a separate chimney flue. Considering low flue gases temperature the separate venting unit made of stainless steel for each boiler is recommended.
