Safety is prioritized with an overpressure disconnecting device that halts power in case of overvoltage incidents. Installation is straightforward, with significantly reduced module widths to optimize switchboard size, and options for wall or free-standing units ranging from 20-500 KVAR. Terasaki/Enerlux three phase PRT capacitors are self-healing and consist of three single-phase elements made of metalised polypropylene film with a delta connection in a cylindrical casing of extruded aluminum. The fixing spigot is M12 x 12 mm and is used to earth the capacitor.
The capacitor is enclosed with a steel disc on the aluminum casing, ensuring a perfect air and water seal. The capacitors are designed with an overpressure disconnecting safety device. This protection immediately cuts off the power supply to the capacitor in the event of a fault due to excessive overvoltage. A fiberglass reinforced mount supports the three connection terminals. We recommend you leave at least 25 mm clear space above the connection terminals to allow the overpressure device to work properly.
