Preferred - Advanced Performance Burner
The Preferred AP burner is a low NOx, high efficiency, natural gas and/or fuel oil fired burner for firetube and small watertube boilers. It features: 30 ppm NOx without FGR. Low excess air operation throughout the turndown range. High turndown (10:1) firing natural gas. .
The AP burner is designed for new and existing firetube, firebox, or small watertube boiler. It can burn the following fuels:
- Natural gas
- Biogas
- No. 2 through No. 6 fuel oil
- Waste fuel oils
With it`s integrated flame safeguard, combustion control, draft control, and feedwater control, the burner and virtually all the controls on a typical boiler can be modernized at the same time to fix a wide variety of boiler problems.
The Preferred AP burner is designed for maximum energy efficiency and minimum electricity consumption for quickest payback. Coupled with Preferred`s BurnerMate Universal flame safeguard and combustion controller, the AP burner qualifies for most local energy rebate programs.
The AP burner comes completely integrated with Preferred`s BurnerMate Universal flame safeguard and combustion controller. It features:
- Variable speed drive control for the FD fan and oil pump motor.
- Dual scanner inputs for fault-proof redundant flame scanning.
- Integrated first out annunciator for easy trouble-shooting.
- Parallel positioning combustion control with oxygen trim using Preferred ZP line of in-situ oxygen analyzers.
