Areas of application:
- Sturdy and powerful inverter welding unit with 170 A welding power and 230 V single phase supply
- Especially suitable for mobile applications due to its compact size and extremely light weight
- Also suitable for TIG welding with touch start up to 170 amperes (lift arc ignition)
- Integrated surge protection up to 400 V
- Reduced load on the power supply thanks to the standard integrated PFC module (Power-Factor-Control)
- Functions with power supply extensions up to 250 m (with a cable diameter of at least 2.5 mm²)
- ”Arc-Force” function: In order to improve the stability of the arc during the droplet transfer, the welding current is momentarily increased. This prevents the arc from being extinguished.
- “Hot-Start” function: In order to improve ignition, a higher starting current is generated compared to the welding current
- ”Anti-stick” function: If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, after a certain short circuit time the welding current is switched off. This way the electrode can be removed without suffering damage.
