All the countless Hawk applications
HAWK pumps and accessories are used in an endless range of applications. They are used in high-pressure washers (with hot and cold water) to clean vehicles, agricultural machinery, earth-moving equipment, industrial machinery, boats and aircraft. They are used in industrial cleaning (including food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries), community services (schools, hospitals), farming (stables, breeding farms, silos).

They are used for tank cleaning: industrial and food tanks, tankers, rubbish skips; for sandblasting and paint-stripping surfaces, building façades and walls; cleaning of monuments, cleaning and maintenance of ship hulls. They are used in fixed installations such as car wash tunnels (for vehicles, equipment and food containers) and in self-service car washes. They are also used in other applications including misting (greenhouses and industrial applications), dust abatement, fire-fighting systems and pipe, drain and sewer maintenance.

Environment and Sustainability
LEUCO S.p.A. has always been concerned about protecting and preserving the environment, to the point that this has become an essential element of our company policy. In order to comply with REACH regulations, we initially contacted all our suppliers, asking them to provide the information we needed to get a clear picture of the supply chain and take appropriate action in good time. At the moment, we can safely say that our suppliers and sub-suppliers take care of all of the pre- and post-registrations of harmful substances. We continue to monitor any developments in REACH regulations with regard to obligations relating to information. As soon as the list of harmful substances was drawn up on 28 October 2008, we contacted our suppliers, requesting and obtaining the necessary information. We reacted promptly to the indications in the document, complying with and acting in accordance with §33 of the regulation.

Some substances of very high concern (SVHC) are in normal use: DEHP, for example, is a substance used to make plastic flexible and is therefore found in electric cabling, pipes, wheels, handgrips and other items and similar parts. When these substances are used according to legal standards, they do not cause any harm or represent a hazard for human health or for the environment. These substances are used in compliance with legal directives. Nevertheless, Leuco is already taking action to replace these substances, whenever this is technically possible, if they are prohibited in the future.
