Smart Biogas is a real-time monitoring system for biogas digesters. Providing greater transparency and performance for the biogas sector through intelligent and interactive monitoring, sensing and communications. Smart Biogas enables performance insights, asset management, pay as you go, and more accurate Carbon Credit reporting. Smart Biogas is designed to monitor a large number of biogas systems over a wide geographical area. Our meters collect data on the operation and functionality of biogas plants and provide automated fault alerts and rich performance insights. Smart Biogas provides greater transparency for the sector, fostering confidence for all stakeholders and engendering growth.
Smart Biogas uses IoT tech and sensors to monitor digester health. Our meters are attached directly to a digester’s outlet pipe and send data to the cloud via a country’s cellular network allowing for connectivity with digesters even in remote locations.
State-of-the-art SoftwareOur software provides unprecedented data on biogas digester performance, and allows you to track and bill your customers. Forthcoming machine learning algorithms will give an understanding of when a biogas digester is at risk.
Our user app, SB Home gives insights to end users around their biogas usage, gas availability and billing status.
Our Oversight App enables you to invite programs or financiers to monitor your biogas operations.
Flexible Payment OptionsOur system allows energy providers to create their own payment plans. The plans can be based on flat rates, pay per unit, time based tariffs, or a combination. The way providers charge their customers is 100% flexible.
Stimulating Local MaintenanceSmart Biogas simplifies the process of identifying digester problems and providing technical support. Each digester on our database is stored with information on its location, volume and date of installation as well contact details for the person responsible for it. If a problem is identified, this information can readily be used to arrange repairs.
