FromSANDS
SHARE
The SYNTIME GPS Time Server is a Stratum 1 NTP server designed for precise time synchronization across diverse industries, including power, telecommunications, and IT. It supports a range of time code and pulse signal outputs, such as 1PPS, IRIG-B, and NTP, through various ports like RS232/RS485 and fiber. Featuring a built-in GPS receiver with battery backup, the server ensures accuracy during power outages and fast recovery when power returns. It operates with both redundant and non-redundant GPS receivers and power supply options, making it highly reliable in critical environments. The SYNTIME device is compatible with NTP and SNTP clients over LANs, fully supporting protocols like IPv4, TCP, and HTTP, along with security mechanisms such as MD5 authentication. Its multi-user interface options include Web, SNMP, SSH, and Ethernet for configuration, with a specific focus on management and security. The server also supports synchronization of IEC61850-compliant devices and offers remote diagnostic and alarm capabilities via SNMP and SYSLOG.
