Savage - Stick Remover
The Savage Stick Remover often serves as the essential first stage of a complete nut-cleaning plant. It is designed to quickly and efficiently remove sticks and larger pieces of debris from the harvested product. Our latest generation Stick Remover is more efficient than ever, and it can be mounted in tandem with our Sizer/Cleaning Reel.
Ingenious Design
The Savage Stick Remover is highly effective at removing sticks and other large debris from harvested nuts. The 2-stage chain causes sticks to lay flat for easy removal while keeping the product moving at maximum flow rate. A series of radial “bumps” cause clumps of product to dislodge, so that good nuts end up where they should.
Flexibility is built in.
The Stick Remover is available in the three sizes: 36, 48 and 60 inch widths. The discharge conveyor can be oriented to the left or right, and the mounting height is fully adjustable to accommodate almost any cleaning plant configuration. The powerful electric motor is available in single-phase or three-phase versions. The stick remover shown at right is part of a pre-cleaning system that includes a Pre-Vac, the Stick Remover, a Sizer and the Trash Conveyor at the bottom.
