The LOTUS-P4000 is a semi-autonomous, waterless solar panel cleaning robot designed to efficiently clean solar panels on multiple rows without the need for extensive human intervention. This innovative solution employs ultra-soft microfiber cloths, which rotate to create airflow and controlled impacts that efficiently remove dust without causing damage to surfaces. The robot is powered by high-performance BLDC motors, ensuring long operational life and zero maintenance even in challenging environments. With its precision engineering supported by IIT Delhi, the robot is lightweight yet robust, capable of withstanding wind speeds up to 50 km/h. Its patented dual-drive system with real-time orientation control adjusts for module irregularities of up to 40 mm, and customizable brushes enhance cleaning efficiency. The use of high-grade aluminum and stainless steel ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, while a swappable lithium battery pack allows up to 6 hours of cleaning.
