SULAGO - Model SILOXgo -SILOXANE REMOVAL from biogas WITH SILOXgo

Biogas retrieved from some types of feedstock can contain small quantities of siloxanes. Siloxanes are small atoms that cause wear in internals of machinery when processed. This process occurs because of thermal degradation into silicon dioxide, when temperature reaches a level of 800 degrees or higher. We would like to introduce SILOXgo. SILOXgo are granules that remove siloxanes from gas. It was tested in the laboratory of the technical university of Eindhoven, where they discovered that the SILOXgo removes the siloxanes to 5 ppmV, which complies to all norms. Nowadays, activated carbon is used to remove siloxanes from (bio) gas. It’s made by burning organic materials like wood, bamboo, coconut etc. at high temperatures. To reach such high temperatures, high levels of electricity or gas are required, which of course make the production of active carbon very pollutive. SILOXgo is a more environmentally friendly solution.
