
KSI Solar - Model UA_250 - Single Axis Tracker for PV Systems
The UA_250 Single Axis Tracker by KSI Solar is a robust photovoltaic (PV) solution that offers an innovative approach to maximizing solar energy output. By utilizing a single-axis, horizontal (N-S installation) tracking method, this system is designed to optimize energy generation through its tracking range of ±160° and Nightflip mode, which allows for a 320° rotational range. With a tracking accuracy of 0.1° to 0.25° in azimuth and a night position module face up to ±20° with respect to the ground, the tracker can adjust to various terrains and conditions. The system comprises two mechanically independent arrays per tracker, managed by a single Soltrk controller, with capabilities of approximately 19 trackers per megawatt peak (MWp). This setup accommodates up to 80 panels per array, translating to about 248.5 square meters depending on module dimensions. The modular design is noted for reduced installation labor costs, remote monitoring and maintenance, and low power consumption, making it an attractive investment choice with reduced Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
