NiCad single cells provide a long service life, minor maintenance requirements, outstanding resistance to electrical and mechanical abuse, excellent charge retention, a long shelf life and long operation over a wide temperature range.
LD P Ni-Cd cells are designed for long discharge periods, typically two hours and longer. M P Ni-Cd cells are designed for medium discharge periods between 30 minutes and 3 hours.
