SHARE

Endurance Equipment, LLC has developed a complete line of Singulation Equipment that can be custom engineered for log diameter/length, species and required piece count. Two primary designs are offered: Continuous Rotation or Reciprocating Motion. Both designs are offered in full electric power or hydraulic operation.

These designs utilize the principle of a heavy stationary framework with lifting arms moving through slots elevating and singulating the infed blocks or stems. By doing this, the stationary frame can be heavily built to accept the impact normal to singulation. The lifting arms are balanced so very little horsepower is required for unloaded motion. When loaded, only the weights of the material being transferred and normal frictional losses are considered in horsepower calculations.

The Continuous Rotation version utilizes independent stage operation to eliminate empty cycles and log gaps. These machines can run stems at rates of up to 15 per minute or log blocks are rates of up to 25 per minute. These units can be configured in a single stage design or multiple stage layouts dependent on the application.

The Continuous Rotation design features Endurance’s ‘Quick Release’ arm on the top stage, allowing logs and stems to be pre-positioned close to the release point for greater gap accuracy and control while reducing the rolling/dropping momentum of the material.

Reciprocating Motion units double singulate in one stage. For many applications, this version offers consistent singulation and indexing at a much lower capital equipment cost. In some layouts, a Reciprocating unit is combined with a Rotary device to provide the best alternative for cost and efficiency.
