Sliding SystemsModel 4008.LOCKER-SLX <300Kg - Locker Slide

SHARE

The 4008.LOCKER-SLX is a robust telescopic slide engineered for heavy-duty applications, particularly in scenarios where exposure to corrosive environments is prevalent, such as on fire trucks. This slide offers a full extension with a load capacity of up to 300kg per pair and is constructed from anodised aluminium 7005 Aero combined with stainless steel 304 components. This choice of materials ensures high resistance to corrosion, crucial for maintaining integrity under constant exposure to water and other elements that might degrade lesser materials. Its design eliminates the need for bulky external front slam-locking handles, optimizing both cost and installation time. The slide integrates a spring-loaded, high-visibility red tab for locking and unlocking, allowing for ease of use and safety. Available in lengths up to 1700mm, the Locker Slide is ideal for securing drawers in fire trucks and can be utilized in various applications like RVs and Marine equipment due to its vibration resistance and non-corrosive nature.

The Locker Slide is designed from aero grade alloy beams and stainless steel components, particularly for front line fire trucks, where constant exposure to water will corrode plated steel. There are two formats: SLX Locking & SX Non-Locking. This patented design negates the need to fit external front slam-locking handles, which incur extra product cost and long fitting times. The Locker Slide SLX is a simple drop in, rugged, solution to secure 300kg drawers.

Locker Slide: Non-Corrosive, Front Lever Lock Release

The Locker Slide is designed from aero grade alloy beams and stainless steel components, particularly for front line fire trucks, where constant exposure to water will corrode plated steel. There are two formats: SLX Locking & SX Non-Locking. This patented design negates the need to fit external front slam-locking handles, which incur extra product cost and long fitting times. The Locker Slide SLX is a simple drop in, rugged, solution to secure 300kg drawers.

Utilising strong 7005 T-53 beams, there is a significant weight saving over solid steel variants, without loss of load capacity. A single 500mm slide weighs 2.15Kg. Locking function is controlled to both lock & unlock by depressing the spring-loaded red front tabs. These tabs are made from solid stainless grade 304 with a bright hi-vis red nylon covering (Black for military use subject to MOQ). For extra wide drawers, the tabs are drilled thru to mount a central bar/fascia panel, allowing one handed deployment.

Available in lengths up to 1,700mm with full extension as a standard, the Locker Slide can also be mounted externally on RV trucks to secure awnings and solar panels. We only use stainless steel grade 304 bearings for strength and long life under constant vehicle vibration. There is no bearing play between the beams, allowing for smooth and quiet motion.

Locker Slide SLX are priced and sold as LH & RH PAIRS. Key lengths are held in stock at our UK & EU warehouses (Please confirm availability prior to order, if required on a fast despatch). Allow 6-8 weeks for OEM production volumes, as we are developing our stockholding. OEM order schedules will be stocked for customer call-off.
