SAE-IT - Model M2G-1 -SMS Tele Alarm for Secure Communication
The M2G-1 allows intelligent communication infrastructures to be using GPRS/EDGE. It can also be used as a GSM dial-up modem with SMS tele alarm from the substation. Although the modem does not have its own VPN encryption, data transmission conforming to the BDEW white paper (end-to-end encryption) can be realised in combination with SAE telecontrol systems of the series5+ product family.
M2G-1 is a substitude of GPRS-1 with enhanced diagnostic capabilities.
