SOL - Model SL40 Duo -Small-Size Two-Channel Spectrum Analyzer
The SL40 Duo series spectrometers manufactured by SOL instruments are small-size two-channel spectrum analyzers comprising two independent spectral channels of spectrograph and an embedded linear detector. The spectrographs have a focal length of 40 mm and an aperture ratio of 1/4.9. Diffraction gratings with different numbers of lines can be used in any spectrograph to allow adjustment both of the spectral range to be detected and the obtained spectral resolution.
The SL40 Duo spectrometer is a compact, reliable and easy to operate spectrum analyzer. To run the device you just need to connect it to the USB port of your PC and start the control program SpectraSP, which is a powerful software to carry out an extensive analysis of the obtained spectra.
The SL40 Duo spectrometers are small-size two-channel spectrum analyzers. SL40 Duo comprises two independent spectral channels of spectrograph, which are arranged in one housing, and an embedded linear detector. Each of the spectrographs is designed on the original optical schematic with aspheric mirrors and achromatic objective lenses. The spectrographs have a focal length of 40 mm and aperture ratio 1/4.9.
Diffraction gratings with different numbers of lines can be used in any of the two channels to allow adjustment both of the spectral range to be detected and the obtained spectral resolution.
The diffraction gratings in both channels can be very accurately rotated using the adjusting screws, which allows you to set the required spectral ranges on the detectors.
The focal plane of each spectrograph, where a spectrum is formed, coincides with the plane of photosensitive elements of the embedded linear detector. The spectrum length, produced by each channel is a half of the detector length. The linear detector provides simultaneous spectra detection of both spectrographs.
One two-channel optical fiber (one input and two outputs), two single channel optical fibers or condensers can be used for delivery of light to SL40 Duo. With the two-channel optical fiber the light beam is divided into two equivalent channels to enter the input port of each spectrograph. Light of the same light source is detected in two channels of the spectrometer. The use of two single-channel optical fibers allows the light from two different light sources to be simultaneously delivered to the device and be detected.
SL40 Duo is a compact, reliable and easy to operate spectrum analyzer. To run the spectrometer you just need to connect it to USB port of PC and start the control program SpectraSP. SpectraSP is a powerful software to carry out different analysis of the obtained spectra. The spectrometer is powered through the computer’s USB port.
