The cells are encased in polyolefin acetate, which is resistant to UV radiation. The frame is made of an anti-corrosive aluminium alloy and tested for tension, meaning that the modules are stable and can be assembled in many different ways. The distance between the frame and the cell is optimised to avoid losses because of dirt accumulation.
The module covers are made of tempered solar glass. This glass guarantees high transparency and protects the cells against atmospheric factors like hail, snow, and ice.
The connection box at the back has bypass diodes that avoid any possible overheating of individual cells due to the projection of shade. With the help of solar cables and pre-assembled connectors, several modules can easily be assembled as a series, minimising losses and delaying aging.
