The ASHAPOWER NOVA-50 Solar MPPT Charge Controller, in its version 9.1, is designed to enhance the efficiency of solar energy systems by automatically detecting and configuring 12V and 24V battery banks. Capable of integrating with various solar panel types such as Polycrystalline, Monocrystalline, Mono PERC, and Half-Cut Mono PERC, the NOVA-50 stands out in its class with features usually reserved for advanced models. Notably, it incorporates Initial Limited Ampere Charging and a comprehensive True 4 Stage Smart Charging system, which includes Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Equalization stages. This controller offers compatibility with diverse battery types, including Lead-acid, VRLA, Gel, and Lithium batteries featuring effective BMS and Active Balancers. It provides key protective measures like Panel Reverse Polarity, Overload, and Over Charge Protection, enhancing reliability. The unit supports a maximum PV array open circuit voltage of up to 60Voc for 12V and 90Voc for 24V systems, with a maximum charging current of 50A and tracking efficiency of 98.9%.
