Diana Classic - Model 120 Lt -Solar Water Heater

Boiler:
The main tank is made of cold-rolled steel, 2.5mm thick, with an internal enamel coating, baked at 860°C according to DIN 4753. The jacket is also made of cold-rolled steel, 1.5mm thick. For frost protection, polyurethane insulation with a density of 40-45kg/m3 without CFC is used. Externally, the boiler is covered with galvanized sheet metal electrostatically painted in RAL 9006, while other shades are also available upon request.
Protection:
The main tank is protected internally, in addition to the enamel, with a magnesium anode. The anode helps to eliminate the electrolysis that is created internally and wears out over time, which is why it should be replaced regularly. In areas with very hard water, the boilers have a double anode.
Electrical resistance:
All solar water heaters are equipped with a 4kW electrical resistance. The resistance is used in cases of reduced sunlight when the water is not hot enough to be used for assistance. A safety thermostat with thermal protection is installed on the resistance. All electrical parts of the device are CE marked in accordance with standards EN 60335-1 and EN 60335-2-21.
ATTENTION : Regardless of whether we want heating by electric resistance or not, the electric resistance must be connected to the power supply cable and grounding in order for the magnesium anode to function.
Collector:
The collector frame is made of aluminum profiles for extremely high durability even near the sea. It is reinforced laterally and on the back with strong fiberglass insulation 30mm thick and λ=0.03w/m2.
Hydroskeleton:
The main part of the collector that converts solar energy into heat is the hydroskeleton. Made entirely of copper, it offers maximum efficiency and long life. On the hydroskeleton, the selective surface absorber is welded with Laser technology for maximum efficiency with α=95% and ε=3%.
Mosque:
The collector glass is made of special Low iron glass, 3.2mm thick, offering durability and tightness in any weather conditions. It is placed on the collector and sealed with EPDM rubber at the top and bottom, allowing for very easy replacement.
