Split Phase Isolation Transformer in Hospital
The application site of this project is a hospital, where the power of a single medical crane tower is about 1.5 kVA. In this project, an split phase isolation transformer with a capacity of 10 VA is selected to supply power to six medical cranes at the same time. Because the isolation transformer will produce a large impact current when starting, which may cause the isolation transformer primary side circuit breaker to open or close the difficulty, so this project in the selection of the isolation transformer inlet and outlet circuit breaker, according to the national standard select only short circuit protection without overload protection function of the circuit breaker. The project uses a combination of 5 sets of medical isolation power supply products, sharing 9 sets of isolation power supply systems, including 10 kVA medical split phase isolation transformer, insulation monitor, protective current transformer, power module and alarm display. Each power distribution cabinet is equipped with a system.
