Steam Header

A header transfers a heat transfer medium (water, steam, oil, etc.), typically via pipe/ tube, between (one or more) boilers and (one or more) points where the heat is required. A header can connect a single boiler to a single point where heat is needed can connect a single boiler to a single point where heat is needed. A steam header is the main steam supply pipeline, its function is to deliver steam in as high level of quality (dryness) as possible to the general areas where steam is needed.
