ProSonix - Model PSX J-Series -Steam Sparger Direct Steam Injection Heaters

- Tank Heating - PSX Jet Steam Sparger for tank heating is designed to mount on a tank or vessel for fluid or slurry heating applications.
- Inline Heating - The PSX J-Series also offers a pipe mount design for inline heating.
- Operation - Modulating steam flow control with integral pneumatic actuator.
- Steam Pressure – Can be used for steam pressures 15 psig up 300 psig.
- Steam turndown – Up to 8:1
- Heating Capacity – Delivers from 500 – 75,000 pph of steam, up to 84 mil Btu/hr.
- Compact design - Suitable for minimal installation space requirements. Can be installed in any orientation.
- MOC - Standard materials of construction are carbon steel and 316SS or special alloys upon request.
- Connection - Standard 150 psig RF flange for steam and tank connection. 300 psig available as an option.
Boiler Feedwater Tank
The steam sparger steam injection heater can heat boiler feedwater tanks to drive off the dissolved oxygen and maintain steady feedwater temperature to the boiler. This reduces the amount of oxygen scavenging chemicals required.
CIP Hot Water
Can be used to heat CIP hot water tanks for plant sanitation hot water or chemical CIP cleaning systems.
Manual Tank Fill
Hot water tanks that are on standby for hot water used can be kept at target temp to ensure hot water is ready when you need it.
Chemical Mix Tanks
When water tanks are used to mix special batches of dry chemicals and hot water.
Boiler Deaerator Tank
Heating the water helps to optimize oxygen release protecting boiler components.
Reactor Sparging
Sparging is another one of the three main applications for removing inert gases. It can be used to strip oxygen from liquids such as oils, beverages, chemicals and wastewater.
