Tetraeder.Solar - Open-space Photovoltaic Analysis System for Municipalities
Tetraeder Solar GmbH offers a systematic approach to evaluating potential open-space photovoltaic system installations, particularly focused on municipalities and regional planning authorities. This service encompasses a thorough analysis of areas suitable for solar installations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while integrating municipality-specific development goals and design ideas. The process involves three steps: initially determining the basic potential by excluding incompatible zones, then refining this potential with specific analysis criteria, and finally providing a detailed cartographic representation of suitable areas. The results assist municipalities in identifying priority regions for solar developments and optimizing planning strategies, supported by detailed geodata and reports. Tetraeder Solar empowers clients to streamline authorization processes and enhance solar energy deployment effectively.
The four phases of the Open-space Photovoltaic Analysis
Calculation
By excluding the incompatible areas (hard exclusion criteria) while at the same time taking into account all areas that are fundamentally suitable for the construction of ground-mounted PV systems, the possible basic potential in the area under investigation is determined. This general baseline analysis represents the result of the first project phase.
Participation
The basic potential is narrowed down and refined through the implementation and design of various analysis criteria. This creates an individual picture of possible locations for ground-mounted PV systems that is tailored to the requirements of the municipality or city. With the help of various additional services, certain topics can be considered in greater depth.
Rating
The final result of the three-phase approach is the cartographic representation and evaluation of all suitable areas, from which spatial priorities for the construction of ground-mounted PV systems in the study area can be derived.
Project completion and analysis results
The results of the potential analysis are presented to the client in a final meeting. On completion of the project, the client receives a cartographic representation (DIN A0) of all suitable potential areas in the entire study area. In addition, the procedure, the individual components for calculating the pre-weighted areas and the analysis results are clearly explained and summarized in a brief report. In addition, the potential areas are prepared as a geodata set (shapefile). The results are transmitted in digital form.
