The EY PLUS Series from Aliant Battery consists of advanced traction and semi-traction lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries designed for applications demanding high durability, seamless integration with system I/O, and precise charge status visibility. These ultra-light batteries feature integrated intelligent functions along with I/O and CANBUS communication capabilities. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, the EY Plus series offers up to 50% weight reduction while maintaining the same dimensional characteristics, making it easy to replace older battery types. The included Battery Management System (BMS) comes with microprocessor control, enabling sophisticated management of analog and digital I/O through an M12 connector and CANBUS. This series guarantees enhanced reliability and longevity, protecting against deep discharge, and are suited for compact AGV – LGV systems. They are compatible with third-party chargers, including both PWM and CANBUS communication types, thanks to the proprietary BMS. Key applications include small storage systems, industrial cleaners, and AGV upgrades from lead to lithium systems.
