HUAYI - Model JS-V -Transformer Tan Delta Tester
The JS-V Transformer Tan Delta Tester is designed for the precise measurement of dielectric loss, a crucial parameter in evaluating the insulation integrity of electric transformers, reactors, capacitors, and arresters. With a built-in dielectric loss test bridge and variable frequency voltage regulation power supply, this tester is equipped to handle voltage outputs up to 12kV. The instrument utilizes digital trap technology to mitigate the interference of power frequency electric fields, ensuring accurate results even under strong electric field conditions. It supports various frequencies from 45Hz to 65Hz with a resolution of 0.001% for tgδ and 0.001pF for capacitance. The JS-V model facilitates CVT testing and does not require high-voltage cable removal for dielectric loss and capacitance measurements. Measuring dielectric Loss is a basic method in insulation tests, which can effectively find the deterioration dampness of insulators on electrical equipment as well as local defects. It is widely used in electrical manufacturing, installation, handover, and preventive tests. It is the most basic way to evaluate the insulation of electric equipment by measuring the dielectric losses of its transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, capacitors, bushings, and arresters.
Tan delta tester is an integrated structure with a built-in dielectric loss test bridge, variable frequency voltage regulation power supply, boost transformer, and SF6 high stability standard capacitor. The test high voltage source is generated by the inverter inside the instrument and is used for the test subject after being boosted by the transformer. The frequency can be changed to 50Hz, 47.5Hz\52.5Hz, 45Hz\55Hz, 60Hz, 57.5Hz\62.5Hz, 55Hz\65Hz, using digital trap technology, avoiding the interference of power frequency electric field on the test, fundamentally solving the problem of accurate measurement under the interference of a strong electric field. At the same time, it is suitable for the test of the generator power supply after all power failures. The instrument is equipped with an insulated oil cup and a temperature control device to measure the dielectric loss of insulated oil.
