Extracting the high metal content in residual feedstock, such as vanadium, iron, nickel, and cobalt, provides additional opportunities for revenue generation. Carbon OxyTech’s experts have designed a process to produce valuable organic products and concentrate metals in the form of ash byproduct. Since petroleum coke, for example, is itself a carbon byproduct of the oil refining process, it concentrates the denser impurities found in the base material. Such impurities are usually metals and sulfur compounds and those are the components our technology is extracted.
