Archimedean Hydrodynamic Screw Turbines Services
The system is based on the Archimedean screw principle and is used as a water engine for small water power plants working with asynchronous generator directly into a network. It is used for small water heads and inconstant water flow. Hydrodynamic screw can be used as an additional motor to existing turbines (Banki, Kaplan) using the energy of spillways. Output: up to 500 kW. Flow: 100 – 10 000 l/s. Head: 1 – 10 m. Inclination: 22 – 36°
