For a given process concept interactions between the system components are described and measured. Electric, hydrodynamic and thermodynamic calculations are being performed, and the dimensioning of the process is created and optimized. In this stage, the elaboration of a more detailed process flow sheet and an execution time schedule are prepared. The general arrangement drawings and overall plant equipment are also defined with technical figures.
