Maximise your biomethane gas to grid
Our Gas to Grid systems enrich the gas with propane to increase CV to network requirements, gives the gas its smell, automatically calculates when it is of right quality and flows it into the network whilst calculating how many cubic meters are being sold to the network or ensures the out of spec gas is safely rejected and either flared or recirculated into the process.
What is Biomethane?
Biomethane is 100% Renewable, derived from the breakdown of natural waste. It is essentially biogas that has been cleaned up or upgraded.
In comparison, natural gas contains around 90% methane, the remaining 10% is a mixture of ethane, butane, propane, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and many other trace constituents. Biogas from an anaerobic digester typically contains 65% methane and 35% carbon dioxide but with suitable processing, the carbon dioxide can be removed resulting in a gas stream that contains up to 96% methane.
