nspection Service
The first step in any maintenance or repair of a boiler system is a good diagnosis. The Wärtsilä boiler inspection and reporting service offers a reliable analysis of the current status of the plant on which to base future plans. Wärtsilä engineers use highly sophisticated defect detection and verification equipment ranging from u-sonic and fibre endoscopes to magneto-flux.
Burner Service
Boiler burners must always be properly adjusted to maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact. We have the engineers with the burner-specific competence necessary to complete this task whether the required service is a simple recalibration or advanced commissioning.
Boiler Repair
Fin and pin tubes, pressurized tubes, spiral wound tubes, pre-bent tubes and pressure vessel plates – whatever special replacement parts you need, we can produce duplicates in our workshop, and then fly them to you. Our flying squads are also available on short notice to complete the installation on a vessel or at a facility anywhere in the world.
Custom Replacement Boilers
Replacement boilers, tailor-made to optimize the available space and hoisting capabilities, can be manufactured using our extensive experience of oil-fired and exhaust gas marine boilers. For our industrial customers, we also design and deliver complete heat waste recovery systems that include all the necessary components.
Workshops
The Wärtsilä boiler workshops are fully equipped with all necessary machinery and tools to offer you top quality products for repair of any boiler type and make. Boiler Service’s workshop centres are located in Denmark, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and China.
