Ontario Power Authority (OPA)’s “Save On Energy” program,The OPA has launched the “Save On Energy” program for businesses, in order to assist companies generate energy management strategies while helping Ontario defer the need to build new generation and reduce its environmental footprint.The Save On Energy programs for Industrial customers allow eligible manufacturing companies to implement energy management strategies for an extremely low cost (subsidized by the OPA), in order to reduce their electricity consumption in a long term and sustainable manner.This means that on top of the potential operational savings generated by an Energy Management System, you can automatically save money with programs such as:Demand Response: compensates participating industrial and commercial businesses for reducing their energy demand at specific times of power system need.
