As a growing energy group with considerable renown, Fuss & O’Neill provides energy solutions to a wide array of private and public clients. We provide an over-arching link between our expert mechanical and electrical design capabilities and our clients’ facilities. Historically, we have worked with state agencies and local utilities to provide energy consulting and design as well as quality assurance reviews on facility energy conservation measures. Our work is so highly regarded that we were asked by one of New England’s largest utilities to develop a ground-breaking natural gas utility incentive program.

Over the last several years, we have expanded our efforts into alternative energy, focusing on renewable and carbon-based alternative energy developments. Our experience includes roof solar array installations and advanced energy management systems. As part of our application for LEED certification, we have incorporated these systems into our own recent campus renovations. We are also installing several co-generation units that range in size from 60 kilowatt to nearly 1 megawatt in power. The fuel for these units varies from natural gas to biogas (biologically-derived methane).

Fuss & O’Neill is working up and down the east coast to develop biogas opportunities for municipal and private concerns. We are highly knowledgeable in the grant and incentive environment and are well-versed in renewable energy credits (REC) and carbon credits. We have partnered with other groups to bring capital to projects within our geographic span. Unlike many others, we identify and develop projects for our clients that provide Energy Solutions that are opportunity-based and innovative in delivery.
