A cost effective CHP module comes with a few minimum requirements in terms of location and consumption. Specifically, these include: 

  • Heat consumption of at least 200,000 kWh, which corresponds to 20,000 litres of oil per year
  • A mains gas or LPG supply is available or can be arranged
  • Sufficient space in the building or on the grounds to accommodate systems based on specifications
  • For buildings: if possible, a ceiling height of at least 2 m and an access route at least 80 cm wide from the road to the installation room.
