Process Engineering Services
Co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical element of a project is often overlooked. With significant lead times for mechanical and electrical equipment, late delivery can both delay projects and lead to lone working for commissioning teams, working on sites long after construction has been completed. Late delivery also prevents handover and extends defects liability periods. In short, a lack of co-ordination can increase project cost and risk.

Barhale’s mechanical and electrical team work closely with major project teams to manage their mechanical and electrical programme and to proactively manage the supply chain to deliver the mechanical and electrical requirements. Our philosophy of true integration and early involvement minimises risk for the customer, ensures successful handover and reduces project cost. We pride ourselves in maximising benefits through offsite manufacturing and offsite assembly of items, which reduce site installation times, H&S risks and promotes a right first time approach. Examples of offsite manufacture include MCC kiosks with built in MCC’s, manufactured screens complete with housings, pump stations, steelworks including stairways and pipebridges.
Our mechanical and electrical expertise, covers a range of industries, including waste to energy, clean water, waste water, Biomass and CHP energy centres, including all peripheral district heating and cooling requirements, and power connectivity to the grid.
