We started Antora with a simple question: How can we make the biggest positive impact on the planet?

The answer was clear. Manufacturing is the single largest source of global emissions. To eliminate those emissions, we needed a way to convert the cheapest source of energy on earth—wind and solar—into the always-on heat and power that industry requires.

After evaluating every possible way to do that, we arrived at the simplest, lowest-cost way to deliver industrial energy: thermal batteries.

Manufacturing at Scale

From the very beginning, we’ve designed our American-made thermal batteries for rapid production and scale.

We turned on our first thermal battery deployment in 2023, and now we’re on the path to manufacturing thousands. Our landmark gigafactory in San Jose, California is actively producing thermal batteries for our first commercial projects.

We’re just getting started. To decarbonize global manufacturing, the world needs to deploy terawatt-hours of thermal batteries across every industry, from chemicals to food & beverage to steel and cement.

We’re working with industrial facilities across the country and around the world to electrify their operations. And we’re partnering with project financiers, policymakers, and the world`s largest renewable power developers to accelerate this transformation.
