Collection / transportation: Collection and transportation of spent LIBs following all legislative acts of respective countries. Ensuring special measures against short circuits and electrolyte leakage, using special transport containers, warning signs, and packaging.
Presorting collected LIBs by type, modules, and chemical characteristics and applying specialized recycling technologies for LIBs to define material flows for further treatment.
To ensure a safe working environment in further processing, the LIBs are fully discharged, followed by the dismantling process, where the sub-products made from various metals, plastics, and electronic components are manually separated.
Shredding LIBs into small fractions and, with the help of specialized machinery, sorting shredded material into defined categories of Black mass, plastic, steel casings, and metal foils. All is being done to avoid the release of harmful emissions into the environment.
