Our commitment to sustainability

The concept of sustainability embraces many aspects. By dedicating our engineering expertise to the energy transition, we are assuming our responsibility for a healthy environment and a stable climate. Our products promote the advance of decentralized power generation and help democratizing the energy sector. With our technical solutions, we wish to empower municipalities, cooperatives and citizens to participate in future-oriented power generation schemes.

Looking at another angle and the more global level, we are convinced that in the long run, the rising deployment of renewable energies will help to mitigate the risk of armed conflicts over resources. At the same time, however, we are also aware that when it comes to problematic raw materials and components, we need to take a critical look at our own supply chains. Last but not least, sustainability cannot be conceived without waste reduction. We thererefore strive to reduce the waste produced by our company and hence the carbon footprint of our products and business activities.

Our notion of sustainability also extends to the way we work together as a team. The well-being of our colleagues is of highest priority for us. Different lifestyles are respected; part-time and remote work models are actively supported.
