Erection

GBA have a highly experienced erection crew who have constructed some of the world`s tallest flare stacks in some of the most challenging circumstances.
Here is a selection of the jobs we have undertaken:-

  • Fina Antwerp; Erection of 3-off 204m high flare stacks, the top 50m erected solely by flying jib, no crane could reach that high at the time.
  • SADAF Al Jubail; Erection of a 4x flare, 170m high structure, done with the plant on-line and with a live flare only 80m away from the new flare.
  • Agip El Bouri Platform; Helicopter removal and replacement of flare tips.
  • Fina Antwerp, Gemini Project, erection of 121m high structure within working plant.

COMMISSIONING AND INSPECTIONS

GBA have qualified and experienced engineers available for commissioning and start-up assistance if needed. In addition we offer a full site inspection, investigation and trouble-shooting service for all types and makes of flare
