Skypull offers a novel solution in the high-altitude wind energy domain through its innovative flying device technology. This 'box-wing' drone features multi-element airfoils designed to maximize lift and minimize drag, ensuring high aerodynamic performance and deterministic behavior. The drone's structural robustness, reduced weight, and low production cost further enhance its advantages. High-altitude winds, more continuous and stronger compared to ground-level winds, present an untapped potential estimated to be 270 times humanity's primary energy needs. By leveraging these winds, Skypull aims to provide a renewable and evenly distributed energy source. This technology builds on the AWE (Airborne Wind Energy) concept, inspired by Miles L. Loyd's late 1970s idea of a wind generator without a tower, utilizing a flying wing tethered to the ground. Despite the rapid growth in the AWE field with approximately 100 active players worldwide, few have reached the prototype stage.
