REEEP-funded RETScreen Toolkits
The high cost of developing comprehensive and customized legal and financial documentation can be a critical barrier to the implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy and cogeneration projects. In support of RETScreen’s goal of reducing the transaction costs associated with implementing clean energy projects, the RETScreen Clean Energy Legal Toolkit has been developed.
RETScreen Clean Energy Legal Toolkit
RETScreen is well-known around the world as a tool to analyze the viability of clean energy projects. However, it is also useful for planning, designing, implementing, and reviewing the viability of clean energy policies. The RETScreen Clean Energy Policy Toolkit allows participants in the policy process to consider the technology, business, and finance of clean energy in an integrated fashion, thus helping to develop appropriate – and ultimately, successful – policies.
