Distortion is also greatly reduced by the uniform heating and cooling of the assembly.  If you have ever welded stainless steel, you are aware of the problems associated with uneven heating.  Dissimilar material can also be joined by brazing.  Gas atmospheres can be used to enhance the vacuum brazing process. Nitrogen or argon not only prevent alloy evaporation, but also protect the part assembly from oxides and discoloration.

Solar can braze single parts as well as thousands in a single batch.  Testing services include flow, vacuum leak, and an ultrasonic C-scan.  Assemblies can be certified to AMS, AWS and Mil specifications.
