We achieved 40x reduction in disk storage, and up to 20x faster query times as compared to row-based relational databases. Faradai Platform can aggregate one billion rows under 30 seconds even on modest commodity Linux servers.
Faradai Platform’s cloud gateway can communicate seamlessly with hundreds of sensors/equipment/systems in the market. Based on proven industrial communications standards, the platform is fluent in most building management and industrial control system protocols including OPC, Modbus, Mbus, Pulse, ODBC, SNMP, IEC 62056 and has custom drivers for most building automation systems, sensors, energy analyzers, gateways, smart meters, etc. Besides data sharing in ftp and json formats, flexible plug-in connector structure enables fast integration to any external system via http post/push, ftp, SQL/NoSQL/MongoDB/Oracle database connection, OPC server, DDE and any other methods.
The data can be stored on the IoT Gateway. In addition critical analyses can be run on the gateway. This helps to take action as soon as possible by tools of the gateway such as auto-control (on/off), sending alerts to the assigned technicians.
