Spard - Power Graphic Software
SPARD POWER is graphic software that simulates, analyses and optimizes electric power systems. It is suited for simulating and analyzing any electric transmission and distribution system, including those of industry plants. It is one of the user-friendliest programs on the market; just by one simple click on any network element you can observe voltages, currents, over-loads, maneuvers, etc.
POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Comprises basic analysis applications such as load flow, fault analysis, control & protection device maneuvers – visualizing the effects of different power system responses to load, topology and any other changes in the network.
Detailed and graphical stability analysis of the power system including elements like motors and synchronous generators for faults or events that affect transiently the normal state of the system. Complete sequences of events can be simulated.
Delivers total harmonic distortion, THD, for each node in the power system, and also draws graphics for frequency spectrogram and the distorted voltage wave model.
AUTOMATIC PROTECTION COORDINATION
This option performs a unique automatic setting of relay parameters (tap, time dial and curve type) using a genetic algorithm to achieve optimal coordination of system protections. As a protection engineer, you will save hours or even weeks of tedious manual work.
Includes advanced applications to optimize power systems such as optimal power flow, optimal radial network reconfiguration, optimal substations placement, optimal capacitor placement & sizing and more.
SCADA SYSTEMS CONNECTION
ECS develops interfaces with SCADA systems for substation automation and / or control centers in order to perform real time analysis and simulations, through (normally) an OPC interface.
