The primary objective of this course is to provide the most relevant and up-to-date information concerning the decontamination, dismantlement, deactivation and decommissioning (D4) of DOE Facilities. The course evaluates these activities as a system in terms of impacts on the facility, protection of the workers and public, managing the resultant waste and applying the integrated safety management system into the process.
