Executive Master of Management in Energy
A specialized master's degree run at BI Norwegian Business School, IFP School in Paris and UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business in San Francisco. Programme starts: March 9th, 2015.
The modern energy landscape is increasingly complex. Economic and political changes ripple through the business environment faster than ever before. Managers in today's energy business can no longer afford to focus solely on their industry segment. They need a bird's eye view of the entire energy value chain. Leaders need to understand the interests and constraints of multiple stakeholders – governments, partners and contractors, capital markets, NGOs - as they try to navigate the constantly evolving global energy map.
The Executive Master of Management in Energy is a specialized branch of study aimed at providing leadership education with an international focus, tailored to the energy sector. Energy is an industry marked by strong competition and large international players. In such a setting, it is important to have a sector-oriented and outward-looking leadership education. The Executive Master of Management in Energy programme has a global focus and brings together participants and faculty with international experience. The programme includes international courses that give participants exposure to business practices and trends in different environments. These courses take place at BI Norwegian Business School in Stavanger and Oslo, IFP School in Paris and UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business in San Francisco.
The Executive MBA in Energy is intended for those who have significant work experience within the energy sector or industries which are closely related to the energy field.
