Industrial and Power Boiler Burners (BB115) Training Courses
Students will learn the theory behind the design, application, and safe operation of gas and oil fired burner equipment designed for large boiler applications. Students are invited to bring specific operating problems for one-on-one discussion with an Institute instructor or for discussion with a group of peers who have experienced similar situations at their facilities.

At the completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Discuss basic industrial and utility boiler designs as they apply to burner application
- List the basic components and functionality of common boiler burner designs
- Describe how burners are applied to various boiler types
- Discuss the differences between conventional, low-NOx, and ultra-low-NOx boiler burner designs
- Discuss the latest combustion technologies and emission control techniques
