This course covers (over 1 day)
During the course, you will be shown how to effectively interpret and implement the standards of BS7671:2018. This will enable you to understand the appropriate regulations for a variety of installations and locations. The course will cover the key changes in the following areas;
- Scope, object and fundamental principles
- Definitions
- Assessment of general characteristics and earthing arrangements
- Protection for safety to include basic and fault protection
- Selection and erection of equipment
- Inspection and testing

Course Structure
This course is based on BS7671:2018 and culminates with a two-hour multiple-choice online examination, externally set by City & Guilds (2382-18). On successful completion of this examination you will be awarded a City & Guilds certificate

Course Requirements
The candidate must hold a City & Guilds 2382-15 or equivalent 2015 qualification. Evidence must be provided of holding this qualification when attending the course. If evidence of this qualification can not be produced on the day then the candidate will be unable to continue on the course.
