Before & After Converting to Delta Venturi Orifice Steam Traps - Video

A large textile plant approached us looking for ways to reduce their boiler fuel costs. After an initial assessment we proposed that converting to the Delta Venturi Orifice Steam Trapping System would be one of the quickest ways to achieve savings. Initially the condensate return hotwell tank in the boiler house was measuring 100 degrees Celsius and was clearly boiling. After replacing all the steam traps in the factory and on the main lines there was an immediate improvement at the hotwell tank with temperatures normalising at 85 - 90 degrees Celsius and all the banging and shaking had stopped.
